Personalized gifts are kind of perfect. With just a little planning and minimal effort, you can win gold in the Gift Giver of the Year Awards. Or, if you have zero time for planning or effort, the right shop can get you a silver medal. Here are a few of my go-to stores for personalized gifts that might come in handy for you.
Joy Creative Shop - Personalized notepads are a handy gift that can be used all year. This “From the Mom of” option is clever (I opted to omit the email address for an order I placed) while these options featuring a first name are perfect for someone to use at work or for the grocery list. Special mention for the fill-in-the-blank thank you cards for kids. Seriously genius.
Mark & Graham – This online shop is a member of the Williams-Sonoma family, so it’s no surprise their items have a Pottery Barn vibe. They have all the usual suspects, including gorgeous handbags, baby gifts, and items that will take your entertaining to the next level – all waiting to be adorned with your name. The department where M&G really shines is tech accessories. This tech portfolio would be perfect for your brother who travels for work, and this wireless charging station is a good option for a father-in-law. Special shout out to this beautiful leather laptop envelope.
L.L. Bean – the GOAT of monogrammed gifts might just be the L.L. Boat and Tote. Seriously. And the close runner up is this small toiletry bag. I’ve had one since high school, and she’s been a faithful companion on many trips. And for the family dog, this bed might have your pup’s name all over it. (Sorry, couldn’t resist). Some of these items, like the dog bed, have a might long lead time, so don’t sit on this. (Puns!)
Catbird – There’s a pretty good chance I’ll be buried wearing something from Catbird jewelers. Their delicate rings, bracelets, and necklaces somehow have herculean strength. Most of their pieces are gold, but they’ve ventured into the silver category much to the delight of my friend T. Several of Catbird’s rings can be engraved with a name or simply feature an initial. Their tiny locket is perfect for a niece or goddaughter, and is ready to ship. And this shiny and tiny signet bracelet would be perfect for me…oh, I mean your dearest friend.
