Is it too late to make a U-turn?
Maybe you are like me, and you find yourself looking around at your life in a state of disbelief. How on earth did you get here? What of those plans you’d carefully put into motion? You did what was expected of you and yet somehow choices were made on your behalf that landed you here.
I suppose my demographics may lead someone to think I am hitting a midlife panic button, but I assure you this bewilderment has been my constant companion for quite some time. I am 45. I married (for the first time) at 43 to an incredible man who most certainly was worth the wait. I consider myself a childless mother in that I have no children, though I very much wanted a family. But I know God did not lead me astray, and in time He will show me where to put these unmet desires.
So now what?
If you came here because you felt that familiar pang of disappointment at the thought of what could have been, join me and let’s walk through this season of life together. We will learn from others and find ways to show up in the lives of those around us even when it hurts. I’ll direct you to authors you may find inspiring, music you may find comforting, and, for fun, I’ll being sharing gift guides all year round and lessons learned from hobbies. Let’s make a pact to not be defined by things we lack but instead by all those things that make us so wonderfully us.
I’m really glad you’re here.
